- QUEENS UNIVERSITY TURBO PASCAL KERMIT 3.0 FOR THE IBM PC & COMPATIBLES
-
- May 1988
-
- The QK-Kermit files have been renamed to all have the prefix QK3, so that
- they can be grouped together in the Kermit Distribution. Before using
- these files, they should be restored to their original names. To do this,
- make a new directory on your PC, e.g. QK, CD to it, download or copy the files
- QK*.* into this directory, and then type "qk3aay", which is a DOS batch
- file that will rename all the other files back to their original names.
-
- Documentation for the program is in QK3KER.DOC (QKKERMIT.DOC). The executable
- program KERMIT.EXE (QK3KER.EXE) has been encoded into a simple hex file
- (two hex digits = one binary 8-bit byte). It can be converted back into an
- .EXE file by running the program HEXEXE.PAS (QK3EXE.PAS) on it.
-
- QK Kermit was written and contributed by Victor Lee, Department of Computing
- and Communications, Dupuis Hall, Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario K7L 3N6
- (Canada). The program can be ordered from him on diskette (specify 3.5" or
- 5.25"), with a printed manual, for $10.
